Beyond Your Numbers
1. Who we are
Beyond Your Numbers ("Beyond Your Numbers," "we," "us," or "our") operates a subscription mobile and web application for personal financial wellness (the "App"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

2. What we collect
Information you give us
- Account information. Your name and email address when you create an account.
- Journal entries and reflections. The text you write in the App, including responses to prompts.
- Goals, intentions, and beliefs. The financial goals and statements you enter.
- Support communications. Messages you send us.
Financial account information
With your explicit permission, and only after you choose to connect an account, we access read-only information from the financial institutions you link:
- Account names, types, and institution names
- Account balances
- Transaction history, including amounts, dates, merchant names, and categories
We access this data through Stripe Financial Connections. We never see, receive, or store your bank login credentials. Authentication happens entirely within Stripe's secure interface.
We cannot move money. Our access is read-only. We cannot initiate transfers, make payments, or withdraw funds from any account you connect.
Bank connections are currently supported for U.S. financial institutions only.
Payment information
When you subscribe, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not collect or store your full card number. We receive limited billing information such as the last four digits, card brand, and subscription status.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and device data. How you navigate the App, which features you use, device type, operating system, and app version. We use this to fix bugs and improve the product.
We do not send your journal entries, transaction details, or dollar amounts to our analytics provider.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Provide the App, including displaying your transactions, balances, and goals back to you
- Generate personalized insights, reflections, and prompts based on your own data
- Process your subscription and manage your account
- Respond to support requests
- Diagnose problems, improve reliability, and develop new features
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information. We do not sell or share your financial data. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not allow third parties to advertise to you inside the App.
We do not use your journal entries or financial data to train third-party AI models.
4. Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers who help us operate the App. They are bound by contract to protect your information and may use it only to provide services to us.
- Stripe, Inc. Payment processing and bank account connections (Financial Connections).
- Supabase. Database and authentication, hosted in the United States.
- Vercel. Application hosting.
- PostHog. Product analytics. Usage events only. No journal text, transaction details, or dollar amounts.
We may also disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Beyond Your Numbers or others.
If Beyond Your Numbers is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
5. Where your data is stored
All personal information, including financial account data, is stored on servers located in the United States.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as your account is active.
When you delete your account, we delete your personal information, journal entries, and financial data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain records for legal, tax, or accounting purposes.
7. Your choices and rights
Disconnect a bank account at any time. You can disconnect any linked financial account from within the App. When you disconnect, we stop receiving new data from that institution.
Delete your account and your data. You can request deletion at any time from within the App or by emailing btnwbrea@gmail.com.
Access and correct your information. You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it.
Cancel your subscription. You can cancel at any time. When you cancel, we disconnect your linked financial accounts.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.

8. Security
We protect your information using:
- Encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest
- Access controls limiting who can view your data
- Reputable, security-audited infrastructure providers
No system is perfectly secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take our responsibility here seriously, and we designed the App so that we never hold your banking credentials.
9. Children
The App is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.
10. Not financial advice
Beyond Your Numbers is a personal reflection and awareness tool. It is not a financial advisor, broker, or fiduciary. Nothing in the App constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the App before the changes take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top will always reflect the current version.
